| Darlin has started stealing food from Logan, when he's in his high chair.
She had just eaten and stole his slice of pizza from him. I told her bad girl and sent her outside, but that isn't going to fix the problem in the long run. Plus, Logan barely eats as it is..... _________________

| I would start boundry training if possible. It's just telling them "NO" when they step in a room they are not allowed. Our dogs are not allowed in the kitchen at all. If you have a dinning area outside the kitchen, do not allow her in there. You'll have to let her know that she is not to go near his highchair. What you'll want to do is, before you put your son in his chair, is take her to a place in the living room. Tell her sit, when she does praise ; then DOWN, when she does praise. Now tell her "Darlin, STAY" Make sure you give the hand signal as well ! Watch her. If she gets up, tell her "Darlin NO" in a deep, unpleased tone- do not yell !. This will tell her she made you unhappy and what she did is wrong. Take her BACK to the SAME spot, do the same Sit, Down, STAY. A few times and she'll get it. _________________

| | I agree with setting up a boundary area. Our boy Clay stole my neices hot dog while she was here. So we've established the dining room at out of bounds for them. Sometimes we have to remind them all about it since we don't eat in there often unless there are visitors. But it's a new boundary so we're still working on it...but with having a new baby I can see how this will be an issue before we know it. So we'll have to work on eating in there and keeping the dogs out. |

| There are problems with that, the only back door to the back yard is in the kitchen and the dinning room is part of the kitchen. The kitchen is also where I've been feeding her since I got her. The Sit, Down, Stay sounds good, plus my son has fed her from his highchair I've caught him doing this and reprimanded him and her... 2 babies in trouble for that one... _________________

| LOL! My neice did that when she was younger. She walked over to Gunner's crate and then said he stole her chicken nugget. Well later on I caught her handing it to him. So much for a bad dog...

| | as long as thge kid keeps giving, darlin will keep taking. sit/down/stay will work even though you feed the kid in there. |
