| Is this the guy you adopted? He looks like a happy boy! What's he got in the first picture? Looks like he caught something. Congrats on the new addition. |

| | Yah...that's the guy we adopted...I think he caught what was left of a stuffed squirrel in the yard. He loves to run out and pick up stuff and throw it around. He doesn't care if he's playing by himself or not. Gunner has a habit of carrying all the toys outside and leaving them behind. |

| | No...he came into the rescue as a stray. So whether or not he's actually a true Lab is unk. He does have a funny tail tho, but our vet says she has a few with funny tails. He's either really bad breeding or a mix. But either way....he's a good guy and has made himself right at home. We're just working on teaching him some manners like no paws on the counter and nose off the table and stay off the furniture. He's really a sweet guy but sooo much a puppy still, but he seems to be potty trained so that is a huge plus going for him. |

| | Yah...he's wild that's for sure. Definitely a puppy and definitely active. Funny thing is sometimes his tail is straight as an arrow. When he gets excited it curls all up. |

| Sorry for taking so long to update...my ISP was out of whack for like 6 days!!
The dogs are getting along better inside. The humping has pretty much subsided. Outside, well things are another story. He has this very high chase syndrome apparently. He loves to chase Bella and grab her legs, her neck, any part of her body. Then she runs again and he does it again. She appears to get a bit scared at times but when I get him again (when he doesnt run from me) she runs at him. Gunner tends to step in when the playing gets rough. So for the time being we have been seperating them outside. But they are doing sooo good inside and I think the outside play will come along the more comfortable he becomes here.
He looks good and is putting on weight. I have let his collar out once and it is already getting tight again. I will have to buy another one soon. He thinks he needs to protect my house from the cable guys, the lawn guys, the pest control guy... pretty much everyone. So I think he has claimed this place as his own and thinks he needs to protect it! He has a pretty aggressive bark and doesn't want to calm down when folks are in the house and he is in the kennel...I am starting to wonder if the cage is actually causing that b/c when my mother in law came in from the airport (whom he has never met) he was perfectly fine. Maybe it's a man vs female thing too...I don't know.
He's really a clown tho as Labra guessed! He's skinny enuff he can fit under the bed...but over the weekend he got himself stuck b/c his whole body was under the bed and his paws couldn't get any traction on the floor. I had to pull him out! He's a nut. He's ball obsessed and loves to retrieve and carry things around. It's funny. |
