| So it's been like about a month and half since we rescued Clay...Clay-doh as I call him. Our first week we visited the vet and as some of you may know his HW test came back positive. The test was so weak that the vet wanted to re-test him before beginning any treatment. Today, we re-tested and got a negative! Yaaaah! We would have started treatment within the next few weeks or so and I was sooo worried about keeping him quiet for recovery. He's a bit of a wild man at times.
He's getting along much better with the other two. He and Bella wrestle every morning after breakfast and usually mid afternoon. He and Guns do the tug of war thing daily. Clay usually just lays down and Gunner pulls him around the room. Gunner has about 20lbs on him even tho Clay gained 3 lbs.
I'm just super happy about the HW test. Of course he seems to have a bit of an incontinence problem just like Gunner. I thought he may have had a UTI or bladder infection. Figures since I haven't seen the issue recently and forgot to ask the vet, as early as this evening I see it again!!!  Just means I'll have to go back. Like I really need two pee'ers in the house.
Anyways, just wanted to update. I'll have to get some new pics this weekend. |
