I'm gonna kill that dog...I swear! Evil or Very Mad

I JUST got my shipment of NutriCal (4.25 oz tube), for Tira during/after her whelping, today. We had to go do laundry...gone maybe 1 1/2 hrs. Everyone went to potty, got a treat, should have been happy. Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Of course not. I had the nutrical on the back of the computer desk, behind the computer, near the wall...where he shouldn't have been able to reach.

Well, the little shnitz head got to it anyhow. He ate the top off, spit it on the couch and ate the whole freakin tube while laying on OUR bed!!! Rolling Eyes

IF Tira got into it, will she and the pups be all right? If it was just Rebel, will he be o.k.?

Oh yeah, it was $8.99 after s/h and we never even got to use the stuff.

Dear me, that boy really is testing you isn't he lol. If possible (if Rebel left the bottle in one piece), read the back label and see if there is any warning as to "to much".. I'm assuming it should be OK, but I've never used it.

I did a little google search on Nutical and possible overdose but all I saw was related to overdosing rats and ferrets...I would say since Rebel is quite a bit bitter than that...he probably doesn't have much to worry about. If you are super worried...I've use http://www.justanswer.com/pagetwo.aspx to ask veteranians and vet techs questions in the past...I think it costs like 5-15 bucks...I might use that if he starts acting weird...i mean more weird than he normally does. Smile

He's still acting like his normal, wild self. The only part that was left of the tube was the middle and the lid. He chewed through the rest of it! All I could read was the amount they were supposed to get, that it's "very palatable" (no crap!), and some ingredients. LOL

Dad blasted dog! $8.99 down the drain...and on the wrong dang dog to boot. Arrrrgggghhhh....lol

Ahh he will just gain a pound or two lol no he will be either sleepy or wide awake and he probably will need a late night outing to the yard Laughing

I have had this same thing happen, With Dixie she was nursing pups at the time and I believe it just passed through no problem.

I keep mine in the fridge as I have soup hounds roaming throughout.

Oh, he was wide awake! And he had a late night outing...but it was in his room. This pup will hold it in all friggin day and over half the night and decide to poop in the weeeeeeeeeeeee hours of the morning when we are dead to the world. It only happens a couple times a month and I think it's when he's been constipated...but still.
At least he pooped outside tonight, after another 2 days of us not seeing him poop.

I swear this dog will be the death of me. LMAO Smile

Gotta love 'em though.

James - Any guys in Cali that need some Lab pups for hunting this summer. lol
