FYI - I sent a message out to some of our members with "O" posts. Since it does say in the rules & regs that new members need to post (as this is the point of a forum) or their account may be deactivated; I thought I would ask them to post, because that is the point of having members *for them to be active*.

I have received one 'snippy' reply, but that's o.k. I figure if someone joins they need to follow the rules and post. We all did. Smile

Speaking of which, any ideas on how to get more members???

There is an option on the Admin side where you can look up the members with 0 posts and give them a set time where, if they do not post, they'll be removed. I agree, all members need to go by the rules.

As for getting new members, I'll see about a few "Vote Caster" sites and see what I can do. Look up Web Rings and such and see where you can get with adding us to a few and I'll do a search on my end tonight after work or tomorrow and see what I can find.

Alot of the members with "0" posts have been here for months. There is only 1 that has been a week or two.
I say we give 1 month to get a post then have their accounts deactivated. JMO though.

Cool. Hopefully we can get some more members. I've posted the site on 2 other places so far. Just sites that let you advertise or talk about new sites.

Yeah, I went and looked on the member list. Have you sent a "Warning" PM to all the ones with 0 posts, that have been a member longer the 1 month ?

Ok, I've switched a few things around and have now added "Dog Breeds". This is where all 8 Groups, including the Labrador and Hound forums are. Feel free to start posting in these forums. Let me and LML know if you would like any other Forums started . I will be cleaning up and adding a "Classifieds" section for Dog Gear, Supplies, Autos (ATV's, Boats and Cars/Trucks etc), Game Gear such as decoys, calls and what have you. Again, if you have any ideas please do share !

Yes, I've sent 'warning' PM's to all with "0" posts.

So far only one reply from an Aunt of James'....birdlady. She got very rude so I went ahead and deactivated her account. She swore she had posts, but the forum showed "0". Instead of arguing I told her I'd informed you about what I was doing and, if need be, I would inform James (who started the forum and knows the rules). However, she apparently sent you both a message I guess. I don't know. This forum is about our ability to NOT argue like the others out there and it will stay that way. Smile

Yeah I believe she posted in the section where I talked about Emma getting bred. She said something to have to do with 2 males being able to breed one female or something like that. Well when I erased that section it also erased her post. My bad...... LML your fine simple misunderstanding and if birdlady dont understand then oh well lol...... But yeah she did post.

See, that's what I was trying to tell her and she got all upset and stuff with me. She basically said she joined for you, that she posted and she didn't have time to spend on here (like some of us can).
All I did was ask her to post because it showed "0" on her profile and the rules were that when you become a member you need to post in a timely manner.

Misunderstandings suck, lol!
