and I LOVE it !!!! I'm so happy how it turned out ! The picture was when Bella was 6 weeks. I llove this pic of her .... Here it is :

Very good likeness. I can't imagine how hard it is to paint a solid color dog!

That's a very good likeness and a great painting. It's hard to believe how little she used to be. Smile

I like how the painter made Bell a little bit bigger and brought the background closer. It's almost like Bell is a supersize puppy, lol!

I know.. I was super excited to hear it came..

Yeah she did an excellent job.. I don't think I could ever paint a solid colored dog.. well any dog lol.. My younger brother said it doesn't look to much like her, so I said if he can do a better job, I'll print out that picture (it's bigger then the one I posted) and he can paint it... I said if he can do better, then I'll help him set up shop and start a side hobby and see if he can commission a few paitings as some people are willing to pay pretty well for a job well done (then he can do a few of our puppers lol).. He's a talented kid, so we shall see if he takes my bet.

I can draw animals, mainly horses, wolves, eagles, dogs, cats & birds (o.k. so I can do alot of animals, lol) but when it comes to a solid black or dark brown animal it's VERY hard to get the color, shading, muscles and dimensions right. "Real" animal pictures are harder to do than a semi-caricature or cartoon anyhow.

I think it's really good.
