Taste of Fall

Yesterday was wonderful here in Houston. The temps were low 70's in the morning and low 90s by afternoon. Now granted...90 isn't really fall temps but it was dry with a nice breeze and in the morning you could taste a bit of fall. This morning the lows were 69-70. How awesome is that. Lainey and I went for a walk yesterday after noon...of course as soon as the stroller started rolling she was asleep. So much for enjoying the fresh air...I was just wondering how the weather was in your neck of the woods.

We were wet and in the 60's & 70's. Smile

Supposed to be 70's the rest of the week.

It's been great here too. Nice to wear my jeans again lol. It's been in the 60's and 70's here.. You can feel that Fall breeze and see some of the leaves starting to change. Our neighbor has a big tree and it's got quite a few "yellowing" leaves on top !! Yay !!

Ah...that's nice. We don't get too many leave changes here. It just seems they all fall off into the yard...nothing like the yellows and reds.

Its weird the next 4 is 98f - 92f - 90f - 91f..... Hopefully that stays in effect!

Yeah theres a few of the cool fronts starting to move south...I don't know if that will reach you but isn't cali like a desert basically?

Its desert like a little but that is pretty much south east Ca. We live in a type of a stone age bowl. Its rather low in alttitude so our breeze is mostly just tossed up dust and smog. Every now and then we will get a northern wind witch makes the critters come out and the dust blows away. Id say here in California we have 3 months out of every year that is way to hot and the other 9 months are perfect! In the winter we have alot of snow within 100 miles, And within 100 miles in the other direction we have coastal waters. I do believe our summer is over though as soon as its under 90f for 2 weeks straight fall is here!

That's nice. Our humidity is back...so it sucks. And we're watchin the gulf again. Hurricane season sure is fun. Smile
