| Shawna, Gabriel & Kirstin.

 Tony and David.

This one is my neice, Kirstin, on the left and my sister, Shawna, on the right.
Her husband, David, standing by the bear. Sorry it's turned sideways.

This is my nephew, Gabriel. It took us an HOUR to get him to go near that bear!
A 175 lb, 70 yo, alligator snapping turtle.
 David and Tony and Kirstin.
Gabriel fanning an imaginary deer fart. LMAO

 Shawna and me.

Shawna hates having her picture taken. This one was taken by surprise right after we ate dinner at Incredible Pizza. She thought I was just playing with my camera and getting it ready to take a picture of Kirstin.

Ok, that's all the pictures. I know it's a lot, but that's not all the ones I took either, lol. These were taken at Bass Pro in Springfield and the Incredible Pizza parlor in Springfield. Tony and I got up at 4:30am, left at 5, arrived at 8:30. Sis and family got stuck behind a 5 car pile-up and arrived a little before 9:30. We got to see the scuba diver feed the fish (pictured above) at 10, got some shirts embroidered with a "Skeet" logo for Tony and a "Trap" logo for me. When we got hungry we went down the road to the pizza joint, ate, got $60 in game cards (all together) and played ticket games until 4pm. Then we all got a $12 unlimited game card and played air hockey, bumper cars, go karts, mini golf, mini bowling, roller coaster/nascar/4-wheeler/big rig simulators, star trek and star wars games and fighter pilot games. It was great!!! We had dinner there too! Lunch AND dinner for $8 per person!!! WOW.
Enjoy!!! |

| This Bass Pro is the headquarters for all the others. It also had a catalog outlet next door and a wildlife reserve on the other side. Unfortunately the wildlife habitat thingy was closed for renovation. Oh, the Bass Pro was 4 stories tall, had the indoor waterfall, 3 or 4 tanks with fish, 2 with turtles (one had the BIG one in it) not to mention all the stuff they had!!! Whew, it was huge! And they had Lab pillows, comforters, shower curtains, magnets, pictures, keychains, soap dishes, tooth brush holders, shirts, hoodies.....it was really great! And don't forget the boats, 4-wheelers and camping gear, geez it was nice. |

I believe they said that the blue channel catfish weighed 95 lbs. They won't know how old he is until he dies though. |

| How fun! Your nephew is adorable. He reminds me alot of my nephew.
Yeah that's a nice bass pro shop...I, actually, was guessing it was a Cabela's until I read the paragraph at the bottom.
Sounds like you guys had a great time. Is this the first time you met your sister? |

| Yep. 1st time. I didn't even really know about her until this past year. My dad mentioned something before about having a 1/2 sister but I didn't believe him and thought it was kind of weird for some lady to just "pop up". I sent an email to her, thinking she was a cousin that I hadn't heard from in forever (her name is Shawna as well). Turned out it was my sister and we've been emailing and talking on the phone since this past March.
She started crying a little when we had to leave. Me and dad are the only blood relatives that she really gets to talk to or see. Her mom won't talk to her because she (Shawna) converted to Catholicism, she (her mom) doesn't like David or that they home school the kids. Shawna hasn't talked to her mom since Gabriel was born. The rest of the family won't call cause they are scared of her mom. It's sad really. I'm glad that she's got us now though! |

| I guess she does. I hope she does. I mean, I had a great time and I've never had a sister. Didn't know I had one. I just hope she still wants to stay in touch and meet up when we move. |

| | I'm sure she will...it sounded like you guys had a great time and had already started to bond by phone before meeting. I think it's wonderful that you both have found each other...and you have a nephew! How great is that. I've found neices and nephews are almost as good as having your own kids. |
