| | Yeah I'd never heard of it until I moved to Texas. Apparently, its just a night where neighbors get outside and meet/talk with their neighbors. Last year we walked down the street and had grilled burgers with the family that lives behind us. It was nice since we were the newbies on the block. |

| Yeah we don't have that here, THANK GOD. I live in an extremely bad neighborhood (but I've got a HUGE back yard and it's cheap). I don't like my neighbors anyhow. LOL _________________

| Well ghetto thugs, hookers, gang bangers, drug dealers and more than a few child molesters (according to Megan's Law). I'd rather keep to myself and keep my child away from them. (heck Logan doesn't Trick-or-Treat anywhere near our house, nor does he play outside without Darlin and I both watching him.)
Wish I could afford better, someday will _________________

| | Yeah...well what matters is that you and the pup watch over him. I've been lucky enough not to be in a neighborhood like that during my lifetime. When I was growing up we lived in the country. As I got older...the country moved away from us and I had this family of mentally not right people move next door...Most of them twenty something guys which was super scary. My dog at the time actually bit one. They really were whackos and were constantly bothering us. After that...they never came in the yard again. Soon after they all moved and the place was sold...neighborhood went back to normal. |

| Yeah well Darlin doesn't let anyone she doesn't know anywhere near "her kid" and even if she knows them and she's been told "watch the baby" she makes enough noise to get my attention and forces the person to state their intentions with "her kid". Funny thing is that if I tell her to "watch the kids" if say I'm around Logan's father's family, or any of my friends with kids, she then watches every child and makes noise when anyone comes near the "pack". She's a good girl, and she's only 6 months old. _________________

| | That's awesome. She sounds like a real great dog. You don't find too many dogs like that. |

| | It was nice tonight. I got some hot dogs and had a family of 8 that lives next door and an older couple across the street. My husband missed the whole thing because he got home last but our neighbor grilled the hot dogs and they brought over a huge pot of chili. We had a good time. Then the mosquitos showed up and it was time to call it a night. |
