| This dog is listed on the internet as a Redbone Coonhound. Any suggestion? I say it's a Dachsund/??? Mix 
My day's at the Dog Park, may come to an end, after Rustee get's a little more socialization. Soooo many owners that brag about their dog's being pure breed and how much money was spent, when any person with knowledge know's that the breed is not correct. Working at a Vet's office I have come familiar with many breeds.

| I say Golden Retriever x Dachsund. Has Doxie ears, a small looking body and head. The only thing that resembles anything "houndish" are the ears and that could come from the Doxie.
Definitely NOT a Redbone whatsoever.
I'm tired of arguing with people and trying to educate them about what they have. I've had APBT owners brag about their blue eyes and have told them that's considered a fault....I've had them swear that a fawn colored APBT was a "blue" and that it was a different breed....I've had people swear a "Corgidor" *Corgi x Lab mix* is a new breed...I've had them swear that mixes were healthier or smarter...have had them say that "white Labs" are a color of their own and not a light yellow....have had them tell me that yellows *or was it chocolates* were "killed off" early on due to their colors...
People never cease to amaze me with their stupidity and general lack of knowledge about animals.
Yeah, that "Peekapoo" is a real breed alright...it's called a MUTT. LOL |
