ATTN. ALL MEMBERS -> SEPTEMBER Photo Contest

Here's part of the last "Rebel email" we got. She's supposed to be getting some pictures soon - we hope!

The neighbor boy brought over a pool for him, and we laughed so hard at him playing in it!! He was chasing the water from the hose, and sliding around in the pool. The kids have also been playing with water ballons with him. when they would throw the balloon and he would chase it, when it popped, he could not figure out why it disappeared. But he outsmarted the kids, and learned to catch the balloons without popping them!!!! He is so proud of himself. He is maturing and calming down, and turning into a big lover, which I love. Before, he was, so hyper that he only wanted to play. Now, he loves to snuggle with me. He has two new dog friends. Howard ( the lab he beat up) comes over for play dates. They wrestle in the front yard for hours. Also one of the other neighbor hood dogs comes over and they chase each other in circles.

Every morning I let him out of Dustins bedroom to go outside. He is so excited to see me in the morning, he starts spinning around in circles. Well, the other morning, I was standing at the top of the stairs, and Rebel decided to spin in a circle at the top of the stairs, and he slid all the way to the bottom. When he got to the bottom, he looked up at me and I think I read his mind. He was like "What the hell, who pushed me, did you see that!!" It was so damn funny!! He is definatly entertaining. Oh, and spoiled!! He also loves whipped cream out of the can. If he sees me get the can out of the fridge, he sits and begs for me to squirt it in his mouth. He loves it. I also feed him yogurt off of a spoon. So yeah, I may have him a "little" spoiled.

I'm just so happy he's found a great home. He's such a cutie.

That's my nephew...he pretty much grew up with Gunner. He went through this phase where he wanted to get in the cage with him all the time. Not sure why. But I think he was watchin some cartoons or something at that time.

This summer he came with my mom while I was forced to chill on the couch b/c of the baby. He fed the pups and picked up all their toys before the lawn guy visits. He fell in love with Clay. I think b/c Clay has so much puppy mentality and he played ball with him alot. Guns will still play ball but after a couple of throws in the Texas heat...he's ready to chill out in the house. Clay will run and run and run. My neice is more into Gunner now b/c he's calm and sweet and doesn't push them around like Clay does. I wish I had a photo of her and Gunner...Over the holidays my mom watched Gunner and she said my neice was being really quiet so she went to check on her...she was laying on Gunner using him as her pillow watchin TV. LOL. That pic would have been priceless.

August 31st will be the last day to do any switching and the last day to enter. The judging will be held September 6th ! I will announce the winning picture later Sept. 6th or on the 7th. Same here. 3 great pictures to choose from ! I'm undecided on who the judge will be, but I think I'm going with my little sister. I will be on tomorrow to "close" this contest.. If no one is on tomorrow, have a great Laborday !
